5. Installation Instructions
This product shall be installed in series between the antenna and devices in the system. The ‘Surge’ port shall be connected to coaxial feeder and the ‘Protect’ port connected to device. The grounding of the device shall be connected to arrester, and then make sure the grounding of the arrestor is connected to the main grounding system reliably. The grounding cable shall be as shorter as possible.
This product can be bulkhead mounted and grounded. The maximum wall thickness which the female connector can get through is 4mm. The attention shall be paid in the bulkhead grounded is the wall should be metallic and connected reliably to the product.
The connection of the connecters shall be adverted to waterproof when this product is used in outside. When there is a fault in the system, this product can be removed to connect the antenna and device directly to figure out the problem. If the signal becomes normal in the case then this product must be failure and shall be replaced at once.
